Description:
Advance to the next level in the fire department! You will learn safe operation, preventative maintenance, pump operations, water supply and positioning the apparatus. This class will combine lectures in a facilitated group learning environment and will also provide plenty of time in front of the pump panel with hands-on practice including behind the wheel instruction.
REQUIRED TEXTBOOKS: Fire Apparatus Driver/Operator: Pump, Aerial, Tiller, and Mobile Water Supply, Handbook, 3rd Edition. The ISBN is 9781284147612. The textbook will be provided in class.
Turnout gear is required for all skill nights unless otherwise noted.
