Flagger Training

Description:
This course meets the State of Minnesota requirements for flagger training and the MNDOT contract requirement for flaggers to be trained by a MnDOT qualified flagger trainer. Training will provide flaggers understanding of the proper signals and safe flagging techniques specific to Minnestoa MUTCD specifications, flagging procedures and proper use of required equipment, and how to coordinate traffic movement through the work zone. Students will have an opportunity to review flagging skills using hands-on training. After completing the course, students receive a wallet-size card qualifying their training.

Annual training is recommended, which will provide a review of flagging operations and procedures.
