In this course, we will explore some of the highlights in US History, looking at it through the framework of American Exceptionalism. Topics include: American Exceptionalism; what is it and is it real? The American Revolution and the Constitution, Westward Expansion and its Consequences, Immigration and Industrialization, The Great Depression and the New Deal, and US Foreign Policy in 120 minutes (with time for coffee and snacks).
