A copy or photo on your phone of your e-course completion certificate. Please give yourself enough time to complete the eCourse prior to starting the Basic Rider Course. It MUST be complete prior to class.

Once you receive an email with your password, go to the link provided or the following link https://www.msf-usa.org/Digital.aspx and click on DIGITAL at the top of the page next to NEWS and click on Returning Students under MSF Basic eCourse.

This e-course takes approximately 3.0 hours to complete. You must bring a copy of your e-course completion certificate or a picture of the completion certificate on your phone to class. Must be taken in the 30 day window prior to your class. If you have completed an eCourse more than 30 days before the class start date, you must re-take the eCourse (you can re-take it for free) by logging in and checking the "Start new attempt" checkbox.
- Obtain your motorcycle permit from Driver and Vehicle Services.
- If you are younger than 18 and at least 15, you will need a valid driver’s permit or driver’s license to participate but cannot obtain your motorcycle permit until after the completion of the course.
- Complete the Motorcycle Safety Foundation e-course by going to the following link https://tinyurl.com/MSFBasic2020HennTech250601. Once on the site, complete the Student Information, then click on “Enroll Student”. Then click on “Complete Registration” to move on.

Transfer and Refund Policy for Motorcycle safety: Refund Policy: (Also applies to purchase orders) Full refunds will be given to any student/company canceling 5 business days prior to the first session. Student and/or companies will incur all charges with no refund if student does not drop the course 5 Business days prior to the first session.
Transfer Policy: Students will be allowed a one (1) time transfer if we are notified 5 Full Business days prior to the first session.

Participants under 18 years of age will be required to have a waiver form signed by a parent or guardian in PERSON at the training location, or it must be NOTARIZED. If you fail to do so you will not be allowed to participate. The waiver form can be emailed prior to the start date of the class upon request. Please call 952-995-1330 to request the form emailed to you prior to class.
If you are a MN resident, are over 18, and intend to earn your motorcycle endorsement while taking this course, you MUST OBTAIN A MOTORCYCLE INSTRUCTION PERMIT BEFORE YOUR COURSE BEGINS.
Courses will run regardless of the weather conditions; therefore, be prepared for rain, snow, wind, cold and heat. Bring rain gear and dress in layers for warmth. It is also important to bring snacks since vending machines/food is not available at the site.
All riders: You must have your driver's license or driver's permit to take the Basic Rider Course. You must bring the required protective gear for on-cycle range skills. Gear required: eye protection, long-sleeved shirt/jacket, full-fingered gloves, long pants with no tears or holes, sturdy footwear that covers the ankles, and a D.O.T. approved helmet.
