Please note:
1. Students will need access to a computer with internet connection to successfully complete this course.
2. It is required that the student (not college instructor) set up an 8-hour shadowing experience at a health care facility For successful completion of this course. Students must observe for 8 hours, having two separate sessions, on two different shifts for 4 hours each. Students should be observed by TMA's or LPN's administering meds.
3. Individuals who wish to work as a TMA in a skilled nursing home or licensed boarding care facility must have completed a Minnesota Department of Health Approved Nursing Assistant program.
48 total hour of training, This course will be primarily taught online & via Zoom. (10 hours in-person, 16 hours via Zoom, & 22 hours online).
