This course introduces participants to the process of facilitating meaningful dialogue around race in personal and professional settings. Focus is on the difficulties faced when attempting to discuss the often-sensitive issue of race, overcoming defensiveness about and resistance to conversations about race, and/or establishing a mindset that can lead to more meaningful conversations. The course is delivered using a combination of lecture, discussion, and experiential activities.
