Goal:
- Promote/support CHW’s and employers in the rural area and beyond.
Objectives:
- Identify strategies for developing the work of Community Health Workers to improve efficaciency.
- Build confidence in Community Health Worker identity to reduce ambiguity
- Apply innovative models to improve Community Health
- Network with Community Health professionals and colleagues to share knowledge and resources.
A variety of professionals from the area will be presenting. Presenters may include College faculty, Sanford Health, and Community Health Professionals.
Registration fee is $60 if registered by May 1, 2022. On May 2, the price increases to $75. The conference is held on May 20, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Lunch is included.
Conference organizers are monitoring the COVID-19 situation and will provide updates as needed.
We are issuing 0.6 (six hours worth) non-credit Continuing Education Units (CEU's) for those who would like to purchase them. You will be given a paper certificate officially certifying your participation and CEU's gained, that will be handed out at the conference. If you would like to buy this for an additional $25 please check the box below.
Conference sessions will take place at the Hampton Inn & Suites, 1019 Paul Bunyan Dr SE, Bemidji, MN 56601.

Lodging is available at the Hampton Inn & Suites at a discounted rate (Thursday, May 19th only) for those attending the conference. You must make your reservation by April 30th to get the discounted rate. When making the reservation, let the front desk know you are requesting the room under “CHW / Northwest Tech” room block to get the discount.
Campus housing is available for students at Bemidji State University checking-in on May 19 between 3-7 pm and checking out on May 20 before 12 pm for an affordable rate $35 for the night. Deadline to register for campus housing is May 5, 2022.
