Grief and Anxiety in Animals: the ecology and evolution of mental health
#: CBEP   ID: 9154   Section: 100521C19
Description:
What (if anything) can we learn from animals in nature about our own mental health? We will explore how animals experience components of grief and anxiety in the wild, why this varies across species, and how it may offer ways to re-frame our own mental challenges. This seminar includes examples and ideas drawn from Snell-Rood's animal behavior course at the University of Minnesota and will offer plenty of time for input and discussion from participants.
