The ACT® Live-Online Summer Institute is an intensive test prep program that provides students with the tools they need to prepare for and succeed on the ACT. Each course includes 20 hours of online instruction. Choose from a condensed one-week or two-week format or spread your preparation out over the entire summer.
Our Live-Online Summer Institutes are convenient for students seeking to develop essential test-taking tools during the summer, when many students have more time available for practice.
Students receive in-depth review of the exam materials, insight into strategies for succeeding on standardized tests, and a comprehensive study plan, and extended online support.
You will receive the official preparation guide including practice tests from ACT, a course workbook, and access to our online resource—class recordings, pre-recorded class modules, an instructor-monitored question forum, and online office hours.
In addition, four one-hour online review sessions are scheduled in the weeks leading up to the most popular fall test dates.
Bring to Class:
The live-online ACT sessions are offered online using a free Adobe Connect browser plug-in. The only requirements are high-speed internet access and speakers or headphones.
Course materials will be delivered directly to your home, or arrangements can be made for you to pick them up in the Adult & Continuing Education Office on the WSU Campus. We recommend registering at least four (4) business days in advance of the class start date to ensure timely delivery of your student package.
