Nursing Assistant Knowledge and Skills Test Out - Full Test - Minnesota State Colleges and Universities

Description:

The nursing assistant test out is offered to candidates seeking placement on the Minnesota Department of Health Registry. This is required for employment in most nursing homes, hospitals, and other care facilities. The 2-part exam includes a written test and skills evaluation. You must pass both parts to be certified and placed on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry.

To prepare for test day, visit MN Candidate Handbook to obtain a PDF copy of the exam candidate handbook and practice examination.

REGISTRATION: Registrations are accepted online, by phone or in-person. You must register and pay for the exam before the scheduled exam date. Online registration is no longer available 5 full business days prior to the start of the test. Fees include the Headmaster fee. There are NO additional fees. If a third party is paying for your test, you must call 612.659.6500 or email continuing.education@minneapolis.edu to register.

CANCELLATION OR TRANSFER POLICY If you need to cancel or reschedule your exam, you must call at least three (3) full business days prior to the exam date. Call 612.659.6500 for guidelines.

RETAKE OPPORTUNITIES & FEES - If you do not pass the test, you may retake the test, up to two (2) times within two (2) years from the date you completed training OR first attempted the test. Fees apply to all testing attempts.
