Description:
The course will cover the dramatic relationship of King Edward VIII and American, Wallis Simpson, focusing on their courtship and its impact on the royal family, the abdication and its impact on Britain, their wedding, the scandal during the Second World War, and their post-war life in Paris until her death in 1986.
