Description:
This learning lab is designed for the student who has completed the Motivational Interviewing - Introductory class and is seeking certification. Students will record a session with a client demonstrating the application of core motivational interviewing principles and techniques taught within the Motivational Interviewing - Introductory class. Students will receive virtual personalized feedback about strengths and challenge areas within their Motivational Interviewing practice and gain assistance in goal setting to grow expertise. This session is instructor-arranged. The instructor will contact registered students to make arrangements prior to the class start date.
Motivational Interviewing Certificate requirements include completion of the following:
1) Motivational Interviewing – Introductory
2) Motivational Interviewing Learning Lab – Introductory
3) Motivational Interviewing – Intermediate
4) Motivational Interviewing Learning Lab – Intermediate
