In this course participants will: Learn and discuss multiple ways to increase reading, writing and speaking in ALL content areas; Make an organizational chart to incorporate vocabulary and reading into your unit/content area; Plan and begin to build a Word Wall in your classroom; Read, define and highlight reasons why reading is crucial in all K-12 classes and content areas.
This class fulfills the MN relicensure requirement for K-12 Reading Preparation. Participants will receive 3 CEU’s upon completion of the class. This class is approximately three hours.
