Description:
Learn about the safe use of basic welding processes including GMAW, GTAW, SMAW, and Oxy-Fuel cutting and welding. Students will learn basic set-up of equipment and progress to higher levels as their ability allows. The nature of this program allows for individualized training to meet each student’s interest. This course is designed for the beginner who would like to learn how to weld or someone who might need a refresher course. Students will need to wear denim pants, leather shoes, long sleeve denim/cotton shirt, safety glasses, and leather gloves. Helmets will be available for you or you may bring your own.
