Motorcycle Intermediate Rider

Description:
If you are comfortable on your own motorcycle or scooter, the 5-hour Intermediate Rider Course will build upon your existing skills and knowledge.

Newer motorcyclists, returning riders, and experienced motorcyclists can all benefit from this course. The Intermediate Rider Course covers control, finesse, counter steering, cornering, swerving, and braking.

The MMSC recommends that you have 1,000 miles of riding experience before enrolling in this course. 

Notification must be made 3 business days in advance for rescheduling or refund.

If you are dismissed due to attendance or improper safety gear/apparel, you will not receive a refund, nor will your registration be transferred.

Please be on time for your course. Motorcycle Safety Foundation curriculum standards require rider coaches to dismiss students who are late or miss any portion of the entire course. You must attend 100% of the course to be eligible for completion.

IRC Instructors are requirement to check each participant’s motorcycle insurance, so please have proof of your motorcycle insurance with you at the time the course starts.

Minnesota Motorcycle Safety & Road Guard Course Waiver & Indemnification Form

Your participation in this rider course and use of this equipment may result in serious bodily injury; including strains, fractures, partial or total paralysis, other temporary and permanent disabilities, and even death. All students under 18 years of age also must have a parent or legal guardian sign the waiver in person.
