Understanding conductor characteristics is a prerequisite to perform line design calculations. This Conductor Characteristics program is a Level I Certification preparation course and will expose participants to American Wire Gauge, circular mil, conductor area, conductor loading, return wave method to calculate conductor sag and various sag equations.

The Association for Line Design Professionals is partnering with Pine Technical & Community College, a member of Minnesota State, to offer these courses. If you already have a Star ID, do not set up another Star ID. This will create duplicate records in the system. Please make sure you keep a record of your Star ID and password. You will need this to log onto D2L to access course information. 


Course Cancelation Policy: For students requesting a cancelation, a full refund will be granted 5 working days before the start of a class. No refund will be made after that. A full refund will be given on all classes canceled by the school.
