Description:
Enjoy a relaxing introduction to sailing on White Bear Lake on a stable, weighted-keel sailboat with outboard engine. Sit back and enjoy the scenery, or take the helm and be an active learner. This class is customized to your individual sailing goals. This class may serve as a “toe in the water” if you are considering taking the full Basic Keelboat learn-to sail course.
Please note: Combined max. weight for each group is 800 lbs.
This activity requires a moderate amount of balance and strength.
Please wear non-slip shoes that cover your toes, and bring a jacket and water bottle. PFDs/life jackets required and provided.
Instructors: Sail Away Sailing School staff are American Sailing Association-certified instructors, also trained in CPR and First Aid.
