Description:
This course explains the proper use of tools and instruments, the operation and troubleshooting techniques for heat pumps and hot air furnaces, and ventilation requirements.

The course objectives:
You will be able to:
Unit 1-Identify the proper use of hand tools, gauges, instruments, thermometers, leak detectors, electrical instruments, vacuum pumps and charging equipment.
Unit 2-Describe the operation and troubleshooting of hot-air furnaces and heat pumps
Unit 3-Maintain ventilation systems to include ducts, filtration, dehumidifiers, fans and blowers
Unit 4-Describe proper electrical safety techniques

The textbook, HVAC Troubleshooting Guide, is included in the cost of the class and will be mailed with your training packet.
