Description:
New or inexperienced custom applicators of herbicides and pesticides will develop their safety skills and learn the basics of agronomy, equipment function and maintenance. Material covers categories A: Core and C: Field Crop Pest Management.
Bring to Class:
This is an accelerated course. Participants should expect to spend time studying outside of the classroom. Fee includes materials and lunches. This class will be held in the Agriculture department of the Willmar Campus. Participants can park on the back (south) side of the college and enter through door 36.
The Minnesota Department of Agriculture will be on-site so participants can sit for the Commercial Applicator exam while the info is fresh in their minds. Test registration and payment must be done separately through the Minnesota Department of Agriculture. Because of the additional study time recommended to successfully complete this course, we suggest that participants stay in a local hotel rather than spend time traveling. Please see below for links to Willmar hotels.

Cancellation/Refund Policy: Ridgewater College Customized Training reserves the right to cancel a class up to one day prior to the course start date, unless otherwise noted. If a class is cancelled by the college within that time period, a full refund will be issued. If a course must be cancelled, notification will be sent via email to the student and/or 3rd party payer.
