Fire Officer II

Description:
Students will investigate the basic responsibilities and duties of an advanced level Company Officer as outlined in the National Fire Protection Standard 1021. Students will learn the role of the advanced Fire Officer in delivering emergency services, examining & analyzing fire prevention & investigations; enacting policy & procedure, budget & finance development; and applying concepts such as professional development and personnel management. The course is run completely online asynchronously. Students work at their own pace. Students may register for as many of the officer or instructor classes as they like up until the last day of registration.

Course Dates: February 5, 2024 - April 29th, 2024 and is Asynchronous/Online

Certification Exam: May 29th, 2024, 6:00pm to 10:00pm at Eden Prairie Campus (D145)
Written knowledge exam only this day. Students will be given a take home skills packet that must be submitted within 60 days.

Once you are registered follow the below instruction.
You will need to do two things in StarID self-service:

- activate your StarID (using the email address you registered with)
- set your preferred email address
