Fire Instructor I

Description:
Instructor I addresses the job performance requirements of the National Fire Protection Agency, 1041 Standard for Fire Service Instructor Professional Qualifications. Instructor I focuses on planning and providing instruction. The course is run completely online asynchronously. Students work at their own pace. Students may register for as many of the officer or instructor classes as they like up until the last day of registration. Students will have one optional in person session towards the end of the course to review material and hands on requirements.

Course Dates: February 5, 2024 - April 29th, 2024 and is Asynchronous/Online

Optional in-person session: April 10th, 2024, 6:00pm- 10:00pm
Eden Prairie Campus D145 Fire Lab
Written knowledge exam and in-person practical skills exam will be completed at this date and time.

Certification Exam: May 1st, 2024, 9:00am to 12:00pm at Eden Prairie Campus (D145)
Certification test fees are not included in tuition

Once you are registered follow the below instruction.
You will need to do two things in StarID self-service:

- activate your StarID (using the email address you registered with)
- set your preferred email address
