Fire Instructor II

Description:
The Fire Instructor II course is designed to emphasize teaching formalized lessons from materials prepared by the instructor, including relating information from one lesson or class to the next. Areas covered include instructional development, evaluation and testing, program management and training resources. This course follows NFPA 1041 and also covers many other NFPA Standards as well. This course is run completely online asynchronously. Students work at their own pace. Students may register for as many of the officer or instructor classes as they like up until the last day of registration.

Course Dates: February 5, 2024 - April 29th, 2024 and is Asynchronous/Online

Written State Certification Exam: May 8th, 2024, 6:00pm-10:00 pm (EPC D145 Fire Lab)
*Students will be given a take-home skills packet that mus tbe submitted by May 19th in order to take the practical exam on May 29th.

Practical State Certification Exam: May 29th, 2024, 6:00pm-10:00pm (EPC D145 Fire Lab)

Once you are registered follow the below instruction.
You will need to do two things in StarID self-service:

- activate your StarID (using the email address you registered with)
- set your preferred email address
