Description:
The Basic Life Support (BLS) Renewal Course is for current BLS providers with an unexpired BLS Provider card who need to renew their BLS skills and BLS Provider course completion card. This course features accelerated content that is designed for learners with existing BLS knowledge from a previous BLS Provider or HeartCode BLS Course, allowing for time efficiency while teaching both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both in-facility and prehospital settings. Please bring your current BLS Provider card to class.
If you have your book from your Provider course, you will not need to purchase the required textbook. Note that book edition changed beginning with July, 2021 class. Bring your textbook to class.
REQUIRED TEXTBOOK: BLS Provider Manual, approximately $26. Online Book code, 1EMC 0026. Textbook(s) should be purchased before the first class. Textbooks are either available for purchase at the Century College Bookstore located on the West Campus or online at www.centurycollegebookstore.com
