Art in War: Soviet Artists during World War II
#: CBEP    ID: 9154    Section: 0529242
Description:
The Great Patriotic War reached deep into the Soviet landscape both physically and culturally. What artists did to capture the efforts and effects of the conflict before, during and after the war helped shape the Soviet perspective of its role in the eventual defeat of Nazi Germany. Using the siege at Leningrad as an example, this presentation highlights some of those artistic contributions.
