Facilitated by Jason Nelson (University of Bergen, Norway) this workshop will be an experimental, hands-on, game design camp. Drawing on Nelson’s background in Net Art, experimental gaming, and digital poetry, participants will create prototypes of digital games using the Construct 3 game engine. Workshop guests will also attend the Wild Media Conference and Exhibition (and are encouraged to present their own work as part of the conference). This workshop is intended for community members, undergraduate, graduate students, and faculty members and no programming experience is required. The workshop will be offered with no-credit, continuing education credit, and 3 credit options, with no prior programming experience necessary. A laptop will be required.
