5.06.24 NEC C Wiring Methods & Materials (Art. 300-399)

Description:

This continuing education code class is designed to be used by all grades of electric license holders to fulfill 2 hours of the State of MN continuing education requirements.

Students may be master electricians, journeyman electricians, power limited technicians, maintenance electricians, and registered unlicensed.

The format for the 2-hour class will be lecture, problem solving, and answering student questions.

  • Learn state rules and statutes
  • Learn electrical theory, formulas, charts
  • Learn NEC exam format and interpretations
  • Learn Minnesota Rules and Regulations
  • Review mock exam and possible exam questions

Student participation and questions are encouraged.

Bring to Class:
Students are encouraged to bring the current edition of the NEC Code book and "Understanding the National Electrical Code" Part 2 by Mike Holt, available at www.MikeHolt.com or (888) 632-2633.  Instructor will supply handouts that encourage students to take notes during the class.
