Description:
This is a course for Estheticians, AP Estheticians and cosmetology students and licensees. In this course you will learn how to complete a Brazilian wax. We will cover contraindications, sanitization and safety. This course will also cover the best wax to use depending on the area and some tips and tricks to become efficient.
This course also meets the Minnesota Board of Cosmetology continuing education renewal requirements worth 4-hours.
Bring to Class:
ACTOR REQUIREMENTS:
Students must bring their own actor to class. Waxing skills will be practiced on the actor around the bikini region, and actors must participate. Actors must have hair in the bikini area that is at least 1/4 inch in length. All students and actors will need to sign off on our Waxing Consent Form and our Clinic No-Phone Policy (completed upon registration).
Actors should arrive at 10:45am, after the lecture portion of class.
CLASS TIME & LOCATION:
Class will be on campus for the full 4-hours. Email will go out 1 week prior to class with location details.
STUDENT SUPPLIES:
All students will receive a waxing kit that they will take with them to use in their profession.
