NEW 8-hour virtual Boiler Operator Exam Prep for Spanish speakers who are working toward their Special or 2C boiler license.
Training will be held virtually on Zoom and will incorporate Spanish translations to complement the English instruction. Downloadable materials and practice exams will be provided in both Spanish and English. A Spanish-speaking classroom assistant will be available to translate and clarify areas that students need assistance comprehending.
NOTE: The MN State Boiler License Exam is currently only available in English, however, ADA accommodations can be requested 60 days in advance for individuals who wish to bring a translator with them. See State Licensing and Exam Information below.

State Licensing and Exam Information:
This class is intended for exam prep only. In order to take the state exam, you must submit an application and schedule your exam through the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry.
The exam is currently only available in English, however, ADA accommodations can be requested 60 days in advance by using the reasonable accommodation form found at https://www.dli.mn.gov/sites/default/files/pdf/ada_request.pdf. Students will need to bring their own interpreter to a St. Paul testing site to read the test questions aloud in Spanish during testing. The interpreter must not hold a boiler license or have any knowledge of boiler operation.

About the Instructor:
John Glynn is currently employed as a boiler and pressure vessel inspector. He began operating high pressure boilers in 1975 and also holds a current Chief A Minnesota Boiler Operators license.
