This course introduces the fundamentals of how air flows from one area to another through duct work.  Knowing these principles will help you in the fabrication, installation, and maintenance of HVAC systems.  This lesson covers these topics:

*Airflow in a duct and dynamic losses
*Sizing duct work
*Calculating pressure losses in duct work

*Measuring airflow

Unit 1 - Calculate duct size, air quantity, and air velocity
Unit 2 - Size duct work to accommodate air pressures and dynamic losses
Unit 3 - Measure airflow characteristics in duct work systems
