Description:
For many organizations, diligent employees can suddenly be promoted to supervisor of the group, usually receiving no leadership training and expected to miraculously succeed. This course provides the necessary tools and attitude adjustments needed to make this transition successful. Participants will learn how to project a professional image, become a role model, set boundaries, perform the basic responsibilities of a supervisor, and other important leadership skills. They will also develop critical understanding of diverse personality styles, customizing their communications for proper delegation, motivation, feedback, praise and matching the right people to the right tasks for high performance team building. All participants will take a personality survey to learn which of the four most common personality styles they belong to.
