Description:
With mornings in the classroom and afternoons on the job, this course covers soil mechanics, the use of soil testing equipment and working with a trench simulator. Classroom time will be devoted to covering the OSHA Construction Standard on Excavations (Subpart P) in depth. Dress for working outdoors is encouraged and a certificate is issued at the end of the course.
