This handbook will include everything you need to bring for testing, what valid ID's to bring to testing, and many other tools that a candidate would need to know before testing for your Nursing Assistant Certificate to be placed on the Minnesota Department of Health Nurse Assistant Registry.
DESCRIPTION:
The nursing assistant competency exam is offered to qualified candidates seeking placement on the Minnesota Department of Health Registry which is required for employment in most nursing homes. State and federal laws require that most candidates for testing have completed a Minnesota state-approved nursing assistant or home health aide training program of 75 hours or more. The competency exam includes hands-on demonstration of nursing assistant skills and abilities. The exam is scheduled by registration only.
DRESS CODE:
SCRUBS REQUIRED and Closed Toe Shoes. Please refer to the Candidate Handbook on the Minnesota Webpage at www.hdmaster.com for a list of other testing attire requirements regarding fingernails, jewelry, tattoos, piercings, etc...
