Description:
Fire Officer I administrative duties covered will include record keeping, managing projects, preparing budget requests, initiating and completing station maintenance requisitions, and conducting preliminary accident investigations. Supervisory duties that will be covered include making work assignments, conducting performance appraisals, end ensuring that health and safety procedures followed. The course is designed to meet the needs of the company officer as outlined in the National Fire Protection Standard 1021. (Prereq: None)
