NFPA 1001, Firefighter I & II Standards with Haz Mat Ops

This course is designed to teach the minimum job performance requirements for a Professional and/or Volunteer Fire Fighter in accordance with the National Fire Protection Association, NFPA 1001 Firefighter I & II, 2019 Edition and NFPA 472, Hazardous Materials Responder Standards, 2018 Edition.
In this course, students will participate in lecture and attend lab days in person at Lake Superior College’s Emergency Response Training Center. This is a 144 hour course that will include a Level I & II Structure Fire at the end of the course, as well as completing the MN State Fire Certification Board FF I & FF II exams.
Textbook will be provided on the first day of class. Textbook cost is included with registration fee.
Course is eligible for MBFTE reimbursement for fire department members.
Cert Test: MFSCB Certification Exams are offered at the completion of class.
Courses must be cancelled 14 days in advance in order to receive a refund.
