Description:
This course introduces the industrial pumps found in most plants throughout the world. It reviews the development of pumps and explains how they function. In particular it addresses:
- Water distribution pumps for general water supply and hot water systems
- Chemical system pumps and the factors to consider in selecting the right pump for a job
- High-viscosity material pumps and the problems involved in their operation
