Description:
Is your axe getting rusty? Polish it up and come out to play with the Minneapolis College Jazz Ensemble! In this class you will develop your improv chops in one of our small combos and create your own renditions of some of the great standards from the jazz tradition. Some reading ability and proficiency on your instrument is required. The ensemble will meet at Minneapolis College from 1/14/25-4/8/25 with a final performance on the Minneapolis College campus the evening of 4/15/25.
You must provide your own instrument (with the exception of keyboard, drums, and amplification). Please call Joel Sundseth (612.207.5311) upon registering, or before. Registration deadline 1/10/25.

The cost of parking is not included in the class fee.
Metered parking around campus is free beginning at 6pm. If you wish to park in the college parking ramp, visitor parking is $10 per entry. Discounted parking at a rate of $2.50 per entry is available. Purchase discounted parking vouchers at the College Store (T1800).
