This course is designed as an annual training event for residential building contractors and remodelers licensed by Minnesota State. This 2025 session will provide seven (7) hours of Residential Contractor Continuing Education. The seminar will meet MN DOLI criteria for one (1) energy hour and one (1) business hour.
Discover and discuss code criteria for structural considerations related to decks, porches and accessory structures. Common materials and methods will be shown with associated code references.
MN Energy Code provisions are significantly different for new construction versus remodeling and repairs. Learn what is required, and what is not.
Business operations for construction work have specific needs, however, are similar to other business endeavors. We will discuss sound business practices in the area of leadership, productivity tools and proven systems. Learn how to motivate, not manipulate.

The class roster of completed attendance will be submitted to the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry to register CE credit in accordance with Qualified Builder licensing requirements.
Registration includes all course materials, morning coffee, and lunch provided on-site.
