EMR to EMT Hybrid Bridge Course

Description:

Certified Emergency Medical Responders who have completed and are currently certified in the State of Minnesota may take this EMT Bridge course to prepare the student to take NREMT. Students must provide proof of certification or experience.

Pre-approval is required to register for this course. Contact customized.training@ridgewater.edu to inquire. Once you have been successfully registered for this course, you will receive a separate email with instructions on how to begin the course.

Bring to Class:

This blended course will include online coursework (to be completed on your own time) as well as in-person skills sessions. The in-person skills sessions will be held on the Willmar Campus in Building D. Park in the lot south of the water tower and enter through Door 10.

Computer with internet is required. Fee includes textbook; National Registry exam fee is not included.

Please note: You will be required to pass a background check in order to become licensed as an EMT in the State of Minnesota. As part of this class, we are required to run a background check as well. The cost of the background check is included in the course fee, but you will have to pay the cost of fingerprinting to the fingerprinting company. Instructions will be emailed after class starts.
