Description:
This learning lab is designed for the student who has completed the Motivational Interviewing – Intermediate class and is seeking certification. Students will record a session with a client demonstrating the application of core motivational interviewing principles and techniques taught within the Motivational Interviewing-Intermediate class. Students will receive personalized feedback about strengths and challenge areas within their Motivational Interviewing practice and gain assistance in goal setting to grow expertise. This session is instructor-arranged. The instructor will contact registered students prior to the class start date to make arrangements.
Motivational Interviewing Certificate requirements include completion of the following:
1) Motivational Interviewing – Introductory
2) Motivational Interviewing Learning Lab – Introductory
3) Motivational Interviewing – Intermediate
4) Motivational Interviewing Learning Lab – Intermediate
