Description:
Marita Heller and Betty Spitzmiller facilitate this discussion group of people who love reading and discussing great literature.
This year's group will be reading from Samuel Cohen's 50 Essays: A Portable Anthology (3rd edition). This compact and inexpensive collection of essays includes a core of classic essay authors such as Maya Angelou, E.B. White, and Malcolm X.
This class is presented in hybrid format; you are invited to meet in person at the Heintz Center or join the group via Zoom. The class fee below covers January - June. After you register, you may pick up the book from the LIFE office for an additional $6.00 or secure the book on your own.
This group will meet on the first Thursday of each month, except for January when we meet on the 9th. Come to the class prepared to discuss preselected works of classic literature.
*If you registered for Great Literature this past fall you do not need to register again.*
