Always present was an unwavering commitment to the ideals of Human Rights. She and her husband, Franklin Delano Roosevelt—president for 12 years—were the ultimate power couple of their time. We will examine the life of this illustrious woman, analyzing the complexities of her character and the frequent collisions between her public and private lives.
