Generational Cycles
#: CBEP    ID: 9154    Section: 012825-2
Description:
Generational Cycles and the Future-This eye-opening presentation is based on the research and analysis of US history from 1543 through the 1980s. The research identified four, repeating, generational archetypes (whose current iterations are: Boomers, Gen X, Millennials, and Gen Z), each with their cultural paradigm. These archetypes have reappeared throughout history in a repetitious pattern, resulting in recurring 80-year cycles. The recurring pattern illuminates our past societal moods and cultural norms as they shift over time, and enables understanding our present and making predictions. This presentation will include new material from a new book, in 2023, by one of the original researchers. After understanding the generational dynamics, we will dive into what this means for us today and into the future. We will have plenty of time for discussion.
