Description:
Advance to the next level in the fire department! You will learn safe operation, preventative maintenance, pump operations, water supply and positioning the apparatus. This class will combine lectures in a facilitated group learning environment and will also provide plenty of time in front of the pump panel with hands-on practice including behind the wheel instruction.
REQUIRED TEXTBOOKS: IFSTA Pumping and Aerial Apparatus Driver/Operator Handbook, 3rd Edition. The cost is approximately $95. The ISBN is 9780879395711. Textbook should be purchased before the first class.
Turnout gear is required for all skill nights unless otherwise noted.
