Training will focus on hands-on practical training, covering a variety of scenarios that emphasize scene safety, assessment, and management. Participants will gain experience using different techniques to stabilize vehicles in challenging positions, such as on their side, upside down, or resting on other vehicles or barriers. Operations will require participants to work in confined positions, including laying down, crouching, or crawling within vehicles.
Participants must provide their own approved helmet, fire boots or leather safety boots, eye protection, gloves, and coveralls or turnout gear for the class. While training includes some classroom discussions, the primary focus will be on hands-on vehicle training using Genesis Tools.
