This three-day course is designed for current diesel mechanics to improve their skills in electrical and emissions diagnostics. Learn about the electrical fundamentals of diesel engines and software.
Participants will learn:
- How Voltage, Current, and Resistance is Used in an Electrical Circuit
- Safe Working Practices Around Electricity
- How Electricity and Electrical Components are Used in Vehicle Electrical Systems
- To Understand and Use Different Functions of Automotive Electrical Testing Equipment
- Emission Standards, Emission and Fuel Systems on a Variety of Engines, Sensors and Actuators, DEF Systems and Troubleshooting
Hands-on sessions will provide practical experience, allowing participants to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios. Participants will have the opportunity to enhance their technical skills and gain a deeper understanding of the complex systems that keep diesel engines running efficiently and within regulatory standards.
