Boiler Engineer Exam Prep Course

Description:
This exam prep course is intended for boiler operators pursuing Special, 2nd Class, 1st Class, or Chief Engineer license (Grades B and C) in Minnesota. Instruction will include proper, safe operation and maintenance of steam boilers, boiler types, attendance requirements for heating boilers, safety issues, and State boiler rules.

Participants will view the Northland boiler system.

Materials are included in the cost of the course.
The course is designed as 14 hours of exam prep material for Grades 'B' and 'C'. All students are welcome to stay for additional instruction and materials specific to the Minnesota Class 'A' exam, featuring turbine information, on Saturday from 2:00 - 4:30. 


This course is exam preparation only. Please consult the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry to submit an application to sit for the licensing exam. Students are encouraged to submit license applications when registering for a prep course.
