Who should take this course? 

WAP professionals seeking certification as energy auditors, especially those responsible for audit reports, energy modeling, and measure selection.

Prerequisites 

There are several prerequisites for Energy auditor, including career experience, energy modeling experience and previous trainings.  Generally, it takes at least 6 months of work in a related position to challenge the Energy Auditor exam. You must have an approval form from BPI before taking this course.  The Building Science Principles (BSP) Certificate of Knowledge serves as a foundational prerequisite for the Home Energy Professional (HEP) Energy Auditor certification.
