Description:
Wastewater Treatment Plant operations I
In this course students will begin to understand the concepts applied to adequately treat wastewater. Terms and definitions will be reviewed. Soil treatment systems and various forms of pond systems will be evaluated. This knowledge will be applied by determining the proper design of system based on source of wastewater and degree of treatment required to meet safe discharge requirements. Minnesota rules and regulations will be explained. Operator licensing criteria will be evaluated.
