The demand for Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) or drone pilots is exploding! Pilots are needed for full time, part time or gig jobs in photography, videography, mapping, inspection, construction, management, agriculture and more. US news and World Reports recently published that the average starting salary for US drone pilot is $60,000 per year.
This 6 week course will prepare you to successfully pass the FAA's certification exam and begin your career in the drone industry. This certification is required by anyone wishing to earn compensation with their drone. Students will learn from an FAA certified pilot and professional photographer who provides real world training and experience to each student. Emphasis includes hands on flight training as well as the major elements of the FAA exam including UAS regulations, air space operations, weather, communication, aeronautical decision making and safety.
