Frankenstein - # CBEP8101 – 233
Description:
In 1818 Mary Shelley published her novel Frankenstein, an instantaneous hit. We explore music suggested by the horror classic. Some is spooky (Saint-Saens’ Danse Macabre), some brought back to life (Respighi’s Ancient Airs and Dances), some brand new (Sebastian Modarelli’s as yet unheard work on Frankenstein), and some just weird: a Stitched-Together Symphony chosen by Rochester’s music lovers. Frightening!
